Here is what you can look for instead…

  • Instead of added sugars and artificial sugars, look for natural sweeteners like honey, pure maple syrup, and monk fruit (and not in the first three ingredients).

  • Stay away from harmful seed oils and look for olive oil, avocado oil, grass-fed butter and coconut oil.
    If a label says 0g trans-fat but has partially hydrogenated oil, it still has trans fats.

  • Natural colorings like beet juice and turmeric are the way to go!

  • Stick to foods with simple, whole ingredients!

  • Healthier choices usually have fewer ingredients.

  • If you don’t know what something is, don’t get it.
